We feel so very lucky to have Michael teaching for Body Of Wisdom Yoga. He is a kind soul with an outgoing personality and gregarious laugh. Michael is a very talented yoga instructor and has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years.

How did yoga come into your life and what has that journey been like for you

I used to be a big runner, but had an injury that prevented me from continuing. I was looking for a form of exercise that was low-impact and tried yoga. With consistent practice, I realized the benefits of yoga extended beyond th3 physical practice offering ways to become more present and connected

Favorite pose and why?

I love any kind of backbend. I can often feel them awaken my spine and energize my entire body.

Who is the most inspiring person in your life?

One of the most influential people in my life, as it pertains to my personal yoga practice is who I consider to be my yoga teacher, Tim Feldmann. As a classically trained and certified Ashtanga instructor he brings great wisdom, compassion, humor and humility to his teaching.

What sparks joy in your life?

My 7 year old dog, Ellie, brings me joy on a daily basis. I am so very grateful for her companionship.
